Super easy ways to nail a monochromatic look!

Updated: Dec 30, 2021

I've been talking about this trend for soooo long and I'm finally going to tell you how to nail a monochromatic look as if you invented it!

First off, let's see what a monochromatic outfit even means!

The word monochromatic means that the photo or object- in which our case is the outfit- contains the same colour or similar shades of that colour.

"Mono" means single, and "chromatic" means colour, so it literally means single colour.

So now that we got that covered, let's see how to style a monochromatic outfit. It isn't as difficult as it might seem, and you might’ve even have worn a monochromatic outfit without you even noticing! (You know those lazy days where you wear all black head-to-toe, or when you're feeling gray and wear grey sweats, yeah, those are monochromatic!)

While those are the easy colours, like black, grey, white, navy blue, there are the more tricky colours that aren't that common in one's closet but would definitely stand out.

Colours such as red, yellow, light blue, orange, purple, neon green, pink, and emerald green are colours that would definitely make you turn heads (in a good way of course!)

Celebrities like the Queen Elizabeth are pretty much the ultimate influencers when it comes to this particular style, the Queen always rocks an elegant monochromatic look and that is why this style makes anyone look like royalty!
